Birthday!

On Saturday July 16 it was my birthday, but we celebrated it on Sunday. So on Saturday my cousin came from wellington. We went hunting for Pokemon's after we came back home. We played pass and pass with the basketball then we went back inside.

On Sunday morning around about 10:20 am we got ready and went to Paraparaumu. After we got there, we went inside the mall. We went to a shoe shop and for my birthday my dad got me some shoes. For a while we were just walking around. We visited some other shops as well.

After we went home me and my cousin started watching a movie. At night we celebrated my birthday. We cut the cake and I opened my presents.

Phantom of terawhiti - collaborative task

On Friday the 17th of June my class did a collaborative with Pukekohe Intermediate. We did NZ Readaloud where we read a story called Phantom of Terawhiti. Pukekohe read the same story. We got put in a group with Pukekhoe Intermediate and people from our class and we had to work together on a doc.  

It was easy because our group was on task and we worked well together. we didn't have any problems with people editing our work in our group because we if we made a mistake they told us and we told them. We didn't argue about what colour we were and they didn't skip ahead they waited for us. 

I think what went well in our group was we worked well together. It was challenging because we couldn't talk to them and talk to them about the story.  It didn't create any problems but it was confusing. Because at the start me and my team mate Manawatoa didn't know what to do. But we worked together and solved it, using the comments.
